All Polmac presentation boxes and packaging can be printed with a logo or text, using the following printing methods:
Metallic Foil Blocking - Hot Branding - Laser Engraving - Screen Printing
You will need to supply serviceable artwork, at 1 - 1 scale (actual size), for scanning purposes, on a cd or, send us an email attachment, in jpeg or, pdf format. You will also need to confirm the colour/s you require and the location of your logo and/or text on your boxes. Colours for metallic foil blocking and screen printing are available on request!
Special Craft Techniques
Pyrography
Pyrography is one of the traditional, craft techniques that, Polmac (UK) Ltd uses to provide special, decorative features and motifs or, as a base for other decorations. A special, hand-operated pyrographic tool is used to burn patterns and shapes onto the wood, which are then 'painted' with, clear lacquers, wood stains and block colours!
Metal Inlay
This is a technique which uses thin gauge, corrugated metal strips, as lines to create patterns and decorative motifs. The metal strips are tapped into the wood and then, sanded off, on a special sanding machine to provide a flush finish!
Hand Carving
Traditional hand carving techniques are used to create textured areas on the surface of the wood, using special, hand carving tools!
