ShippingPacking and Transportation
After quality checking, your boxes will be individually wrapped in white paper, to avoid scuff marks during transportation and then carefully packed in 5-layer, corrugated cardboard cartons, lined with water proof, bitumastic paper, to keep them dry! The cartons will then be stacked onto wooden (euro) pallets, shrink-wrapped and stored in the loading bay, ready for shipping by international, lorry transport!
Polmac (UK) Ltd uses experienced, insurance backed, international transport companies in Poland and the UK that, specialise in transporting palleted loads over 250kg. All consignments leaving our factory are bar coded and 'Track and Trace' technology is employed to ensure they are delivered safely and on time!
Transport Costs
The cost of paletted loads, delivered directly to your premises or depot, are normally included in the unit cost of your boxes. However, if a special fast-track service is required, additional charges will be applicable and are available on request!
Smaller loads, such as loose cartons, are off-loaded in our High Wycombe Depot and after checking, delivered by local Courier. The costs for this service are charged at local rates and are added to the Final Tax Invoice!
Delivery Time
The normal delivery period, for destinations in the UK is 5 working days (excluding the Higlands and Islands of Scotland, other off-shore islands and Northern Ireland). If you have a particularly urgent consignment we can normally, reduce the delivery period by air freighting your goods and using a guaranteed, next day delivery service in the UK. Worldwide Shipping
Polmac (UK) Ltd can arrange FOB (Free On Board) shipments worldwide, for overseas and UK customers. Shipping costs and delivery times are available on request.
